Inspection of Colleges
How are independent colleges inspected?
Inspection of independent Sixth Form Colleges may be carried out by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI), by the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills (Ofsted) or, in the case that a college recruits overseas students, by the British Accreditation Council (BAC).
Inspections cover the standards of education as well as the administration of the college and the level of welfare support provided for students.
